Terms of Service

This Agreement is made by between The Collar Club, a Singapore Limited Exempt Private Limited Company (hereinafter called “The Collar Club”) and the terms “Pet” or “Pets” refer to all pets under said ownership of Owner who utilize services at The Collar Club, either now or in the future (“Services”). The following are the terms of service at The Collar Club. By proceeding with our service reservation, Owner accepts and agrees with The Collar Club's terms and conditions as below:

  1. DISCLOSURE
By leaving Pet with The Collar Club, Owner warrants and represents to The Collar Club that all information provided to The Collar Club either in writing or orally about the Pet, including without limitation information relating to health, satisfaction of pre-arrival checklist, and sole ownership of the Pet, is accurate in all respects and further acknowledges that this is a continuing warranty and representation that shall be deemed repeated each time his Pet is brought to The Collar Club. Owner agrees to inform The Collar Club of any changes in Pet’s condition and/or behavior no less than three (3) days prior to subsequent visits. The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to any Pet for any reason, at any time, including, but not limited to: pets lacking proof of vaccinations, displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, and/or exhibiting aggressive or unacceptable behavior.
  1. GENERAL
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties. All terms and conditions of this Agreement shall be binding on the spouses, heirs, administrators, personal representatives, and assignees of Owner. The Collar Club reserves the right to change or update the policy at any time without prior notice. The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to pets or owners.
  1. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement is governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of Singapore and the parties hereto hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts. 
  1. COMPLIANCE
Owner agrees to comply with the published policies of The Collar Club, which may be revised from time to time, with or without notice. In the event there is a discrepancy, this Agreement shall supersede the content of the House Rules. By engaging, activating, purchasing, claiming, receiving, or using our services, goods, and/or pre-paid packages, you agree to be bound by all applicable The Collar Club service terms, policies, and procedures, including The Collar Club's terms of service.
  1. RATES
Rates quoted are in Singapore Dollars. Rates are subject to changes without notice. In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, The Collar Club reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion, and will contact you directly to do so. The Collar Club reserves the right to charge a handling fee of S$30 for aggressive Pet and shop cleaning fees of S$80 for Pet with flea and ticks at any time, in addition to the rates quoted on the invoices. The Rates are subject to prevailing Goods, Services Tax and Service Charge. The Collar Club shall be entitled to charge interest at a rate of 10% per annum calculated on the basis of a 365-day year on unpaid invoices upon expiry of the fourteen (14) days.
  • For Boarding
    The rates quoted are based on your period of stay. Rates are subject to change as a result of changes in your arrival and/or departure dates and time.
  • For Daycare / Play Hour 
    The rates quoted are based on the size of the pet.
  • For Grooming
    The rates quoted are based on the breed, size, fur condition, and behavior of Pet (“Handling Fees”) by Owner’s description or photo reference. Rates are subject to change as a result of the actual breed, size, fur condition, and behavior of Pet on arrival/during grooming process, and/or changes in appointment dates and time. The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse/stop services for such pet(s) at any time before or during the grooming process, charge a handling fee for aggressive Pet / mat removal fees / deshed fees / teeth brushing fees / full scissoring fees for Pet in addition to the quoted grooming charge.
  • For Transport
    The rates quoted are based on service and the number of Pets. The Collar Club reserves the right to charge the difference in pricing in the event your dog increases in weight and falls under a new category.
6. GROOMING NO-SHOW, LATE, LAST MINUTE CHANGES & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Collar Club’s goal is to provide excellent care to each owner and furbaby in a timely manner. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule or make any changes in your booking, owners are required to call or leave a message at least 24 hours before their appointment time. “No Show” shall mean any owner who fails to arrive for a scheduled appointment. “Same Day Cancellation” and "Last Minute Changes" shall mean any owner who cancels, reschedules, or makes any changes in their booking less than 24 hours before their scheduled appointment. “Late Arrival” shall mean any owner who arrives 15 minutes after the expected arrival time for the scheduled appointment, The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to the owner. The appointment must be canceled/rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
In the event the owner is defined by "No Show," "Late," "Same Day Cancellation," or "Last Minute Changes":
  • (i) Package User: 1 session will be taken off.
  • (ii) Non-Package User: Full price of the scheduled service will be charged.

The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to owners.

7. TERMS AND CONDITION OF PRE-PAID PACKAGE

Pre-paid packages are sold at a special discounted rate under the terms that they are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-shareable.
Packages cannot be sold, shared, or transferred to any other person, entity, or party without prior written consent from The Collar Club.
Usage and Validity:
All pre-paid packages are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any unused balance after the validity period will be forfeited.
Packages are intended for the use of one (1) pet only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Service Adjustments:
The Collar Club reserves the right to charge the price difference if the pet’s weight changes, moving them into a different pricing category.

The Collar Club understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise after purchasing a package, such as The passing of a pet (with proper supporting documentation), Behavioral changes in the pet that lead to rejection by The Collar Club (for daycare/play hours packages). In such cases, any unused portion of the package (after deducting the value of utilized services at standard rates) may be transferred for use on other services at The Collar Club and it is subject approval. However, please note that pre-paid packages remain strictly non-refundable.

Exclusions:
Pre-paid packages cannot be used to top up or offset the cost of other services.
Pre-paid packages cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or sale.

Specific Service Conditions: 
School bus pre-paid packages are add on for daycare service only and cannot be redeemed for two (2) Single Trips.
All Spa Treatments Package must come with either Basic Grooming / Full Grooming / Bath & Fluffy Service.
Deshedding / Dematting are always additional on top of the package.
Any cancellation or amendment of the appointment will need to inform 1 working day prior to the appointment date.

Spa Treatments: Must be paired with Basic Grooming, Full Grooming, or Bath & Fluffy services. Deshedding and dematting services are always charged additionally.

By purchasing a pre-paid package, you agree to the above terms and conditions. For any clarifications or assistance, please contact The Collar Club team.

  1. PET HOTEL CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in time starts from 3pm - 5pm and check-out time by 12:00 pm. Early check-in or Late check-out subject to per hour fee. Rates for Pet hotel are variable and subject to room size Owner booked previously for Pet, availability, and holiday seasons. A holiday surcharge will be imposed on MOM-designated national Public Holidays.
  1. DAYCARE / PLAY HOUR CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME
Check-in anytime after 8:00 am and check-out before closing time. Late check-out (after official operation time) shall be considered as an overnight service where an additional fee of $80 for a small room shall be chargeable to Owner. A ten (10) minute grace period is given to Every Hour (60 minutes). After ten (10) minutes, an hour will be charged accordingly.
  1. GROOMING COMPLETION TIME & CHECK OUT TIME:
If unforeseen circumstances cause The Collar Club grooming procedure to be late, The Collar Club will inform and make arrangements for a later discharge. The pet is expected to be picked up as subsequently scheduled. Pets not picked up one (1) hour after The Collar Club officially informs will incur grooming playtime charges at S$8 per hour. Every effort will be made to keep our scheduled grooms running smoothly. A typical pet groom can be completed in two (2) to five (5) hours from the time of the appointment. If the pet has behavior issues or skin and coat problems Owner shall expect a longer period of time for rendering services. If the Owner requires a pet returned by a certain time, the Owner must inform The Collar Club prior to the groom. The Collar Club does not provide waiting facilities.
  1. PET TRANSPORT PICK UP AND DROP OFF
(i) School Bus & Standard Plan:

  • Preferred time slot within official working hours
Transport is subject to availability and advance booking is needed.
The driver will text owner 15 minutes before arrival.
To ensure the pet's safety, they cannot be fetched directly from the house. Kindly bring pets to the driver.
Ensure someone is available to bring down or collect the pet. A grace period of 10 minutes is extended while waiting; otherwise, the pet will be rescheduled to the last pick up/drop off with an extra charge of S$35.
If the pet is found with fleas or ticks, a vehicle cleaning fee of S$80 will be applied. Additional fees for de-ticking and shop cleaning are charged separately.

12. PET HOTEL CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking during Non-Peak Periods:
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance payment must be made in full upon check-in. For cancellations or amendments, please notify us at least ten (10) days before the check-in date (excluding the check-in day) to receive a refund of the deposit. Cancellations, amendments, or no-shows made within ten (10) days of the check-in date will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Booking durin Cancellations Peak Periods:
During peak periods ( January, June, November, December), full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or amendments must be made at least three (3) weeks (21 days) in advance of the check-in date (excluding the check-in day).

 

13. GROOMING CANCELLATION POLICY

To cancel or amend a grooming appointment, notify The Collar Club no less than 24 hours prior.
A 50% deposit is required for owners with a history of no-shows or same-day cancellations.
For no-shows, cancellations, or changes within 24 hours of the appointment, deposits are forfeited.

14. TRANSPORT CANCELLATION POLICY

A 20% deposit is required once transport booking is confirmed.
To cancel or reschedule, notify The Collar Club no less than 24 hours prior to the pick-up date.
For no-shows, cancellations, or changes within 24 hours, deposits are forfeited.

15. ABANDOMENT

If a pet is not collected within 14 days after the departure date, it is considered abandoned and may be disposed of through adoption or sale.
The owner remains liable for all fees and any additional costs incurred by The Collar Club.

16. PET BOARDING/DAYCARE/PLAY HOUR/GROOMING ASSUMPTION OF RISK

The Collar Club will exercise reasonable care but is not responsible for diagnosing illnesses or injuries.
No amount of vaccination or sanitation can prevent all diseases. Pets are encouraged to have Bordetella vaccinations.
Pets play in close contact, which can lead to injuries. The owner is responsible for all damages and medical treatment.
Boarding pets together may decrease detection of issues and increase the chance of injury.
Incidents out of The Collar Club's control, such as traffic accidents, suffocation, or allergic reactions, can cause serious injury or death.
In emergencies, The Collar Club may seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.
Daycare is only for well-behaved, socialized dogs that pass a temperament evaluation.
Grooming involves sharp equipment and may result in injuries. Pre-existing conditions may be revealed during grooming, and the owner must decide on further action.
Excessive matting can cause medical issues. De-matting is painful and may result in nicks or cuts. Shaved pets are prone to sunburn.
Custom cuts are performed to the best of the groomer's ability, but no guarantees are made.

17. ACTS OR BEHAVIOR

The owner is responsible for their pet's behavior and any resulting injuries or damages.
The Collar Club may use diapers, squirt bottles, citronella spray, or muzzles for protection.
The owner indemnifies The Collar Club against claims resulting from undisclosed pre-existing conditions or injuries caused by the pet.

18. MEDICAL ATTENTION

In emergencies, The Collar Club may seek medical attention for the pet from preferred veterinarians.
The owner is responsible for all costs associated with medical treatment.

19. ARBITRATION 

This agreement is binding on all parties and their heirs.
Disputes will be settled by arbitration in accordance with Singapore Arbitration Association rules.
The prevailing party in arbitration will be awarded costs and reasonable solicitor’s fees.
Singapore law applies to disputes, and Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

       20.  RELEASE, WAIVER AND DISCHARGE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

IN CONSIDERATION of allowing your pet to engage Pet Service(s) at The Collar Club Pte Ltd / The Collar Club Punggol Pte Ltd, the owner  agree and acknowledges to the following:

that while pet(s) is/are in the care and custody of The Collar Club, in the event of an emergency, Owner hereby authorize The Collar Club representatives to seek immediate veterinary care for pet. Owner understands that all costs in connection with, veterinary, medical, other treatment and transport shall be their sole responsibility. Owner agrees to release The Collar Club any liabilities of any nature or which may be caused in any way by their pet during grooming, play, boarding period;

that no amount of vaccination requirement, sanitation or personalized care can be 100% certain to prevent pets from contracting an airborne virus or communicable diseases. The Collar Club maintain a very high level of cleanliness, disinfect our workspace every night, but interaction with other pets carry inherent risks;

that we are allowed to bring pet’s belonging, if desired, however The Collar Club cannot guarantee that they will be returned in the same condition or at all;

Owner release, waive and discharge The Collar Club Pte Ltd / The Collar Club Punggol Pte Ltd and their directors, officers, agents, servants and employees (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”) from, and covenant not to sue the Releasees or any of them for, any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or in relation to any loss, damage or injury including death, that may be sustained by me or my pet or to any property owned by me or my pet, howsoever caused;

Owner agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees and each of them from any losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees) that they may suffer or incur arising out of or in relation to, directly or indirectly, my pet’s presence and/or behaviour whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise;

 The Collar Club reserves the right to refuse service to any pet for any reason, at any time, including, but not limited to: Pets lacking proofs of vaccinations, pets displaying signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions and/or pets exhibiting aggressive or unacceptable behavior;

Owner agree that the foregoing release, waiver, discharge, covenant and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

Requirements

Core Vaccination

Up-to-date Vaccination or Titer Test: Your dog must have valid core vaccination records or recent titer test results, including a valid Leptospirosis vaccination administered within the last 12 months and at least 14 days prior to daycare.

1 Hour Assessment

Daycare Social Assessment:Prior to booking, your dog must have successfully completed our daycare / play social assessment.

Microchip and Pet License

  • A Registered Microchip: This ensures that every pet in our care is identifiable, enhancing their security and peace of mind for pet parents.
  • A Valid Pet License: In compliance with local regulations, all dogs / cats must hold an active license from the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS).

Flea & Tick Prevention

Monthly Tick and Flea Prevention:Ensure your dog is on a monthly tick and flea prevention regimen.

Fill Up All Compulsory Forms

  1. Registration Form: Provide essential contact details and emergency information.
  2. Medical History: Detail your pet's vaccinations, health conditions, and medications.
  3. Consent Forms: Authorize veterinary care, grooming services, and photography permissions.
